Introduction

Welcome to Pixcs (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at pixcs.com and all its calculators, guides, and related content (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

Acceptance and Changes

Using Pixcs means you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. We may update the Terms as the site changes; continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised version.

Educational Estimates, Not Exact Output

This is the most important term on the page. Every calculator on Pixcs produces an educational estimatefrom the numbers you enter and standard formulas — proportional scaling, greatest-common-divisor ratios, pixels-per-inch conversions, and typical compression ratios. The results are simplified models to help you plan. They are not the exact output of any particular editor, camera, or printer. Pixel results are rounded to whole pixels; file-size figures are ballparks that depend heavily on image content and quality settings. For anything that must be exact, verify it in your own software.

The Service is provided “as is.” While we aim for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every calculation is error-free or fits your purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixcs and its suppliers are not liable for any damages — including lost work, reprints, or costs arising from a mismatched size, resolution, or file — resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, even if we were advised such damages were possible.

Intellectual Property

The site’s text, graphics, logos, tools, and code are owned by Pixcs or its suppliers and protected by copyright, except third-party museum and reference material drawn from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, which remains under its own licences. You may use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or strip notices from the site’s materials.

Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Service links to external sites and shows third-party advertising (including Google AdSense). We do not control or endorse third-party content, and using any linked site is at your own risk.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts for any dispute arising from them.
